Privacy policy
Push Bird is provided by Danish Joshi (neocollar). This policy explains what stays on your iPhone, what our services receive, and the choices you have. Effective September 11, 2026.
Camera and movement
The front camera lets your movement control the game. Face tracking and the starting-position check of visible hands and shoulders run on your iPhone. The setup check does not establish floor contact or certify exercise form. We do not send camera frames, body or hand landmarks, face measurements or audio to Cloudflare, Superwall or analytics services. We do not use face recognition to identify you, create a biometric identity, or use your camera for advertising. The app does not request microphone access. Movement inputs are sent when you submit an online score or create a challenge so the server can validate the game; it retains the result and replay hash, not the input sequence.
Recordings you choose to make
Playing creates a silent video of you and the game on your iPhone. It is not uploaded to our servers. You choose whether to save it to Photos or share it to another app. Temporary clips older than 24 hours are eligible for cleanup when you next record or export; the operating system may clear cached files sooner. Copies saved to Photos or shared elsewhere remain under your control and the destination service’s policy.
Your profile and online player
Your entered name, age, sex and fitness level are stored locally. An app-specific random player ID and authentication secret enable online play without a login. This is not an advertising identifier or hardware serial number. Cloudflare stores your player ID, generated leaderboard alias, scores, movement counts, course and challenge details, club membership, blocks and reports. If you explicitly publish an Instagram or TikTok handle, the handle and platform appear publicly with your scores. Handles are self-reported; we do not connect to your social account. Turning publication off and syncing your profile removes the handle from our player record.
Purchases and service providers
Apple processes payments and manages subscriptions. Superwall provides purchase screens, entitlement status and purchase-related analytics; it receives an app-specific player ID, the device vendor identifier (IDFV), app/device information, paywall interactions, loading and error diagnostics, and subscription information. We do not receive your payment-card details. Cloudflare Workers and D1 host our API and online game data. Infrastructure providers may process IP addresses and request metadata for delivery, security and abuse prevention. We do not sell personal data or use cross-app advertising tracking.
Optional usage analytics
Usage analytics is on by default and can be turned off using Settings → Share usage data. The app sends selected events to PostHog US Cloud: onboarding steps, menu navigation, calibration success, game mode and results, play duration, tracking interruption counts, character unlocks, sharing actions and paywall entry. These events include your app-specific player ID, a random session ID, app version and build type. They do not contain your name, age, sex, fitness level, social handle, camera images, face measurements, screen recordings or typed text. We disable geolocation enrichment. PostHog processes the connection’s IP address to receive requests. Events help us understand which features work and where people get stuck. Existing opt-out choices are respected. Turning it off stops future events and cancels pending requests; events already delivered remain subject to deletion requests and our project’s retention settings. Email dj@neocollar.com with your player ID to request removal of previously delivered analytics or purchase-service records.
Reminders
Daily reminders are optional local notifications scheduled on your iPhone. You can change or disable them in Settings → Daily reminders or in iOS notification settings. Your notification schedule is not uploaded to our backend.
Retention
Online challenges expire after seven days. Expired challenges and score tickets with their associated results older than 90 days are cleaned up during later server activity, so deletion may not happen at the exact expiry time. Player records, published handles, club memberships, blocks and reports remain until deleted or no longer needed to run or protect the service. Local recent history holds up to 100 rounds; lifetime progress stays until you clear it. Apple and Superwall retain billing and operational records under their own policies and applicable requirements.
Your choices and deletion
Settings → Delete online player data deletes your online player, scores, challenges, reports and club membership, and clears local game history. The app creates a new random player identity for future play. Clear local game history removes local results and progress without deleting online data. You can edit your local profile and remove a published handle in Settings → Edit profile. Deleting the app removes its local app data; cached Keychain identity may remain, so use the in-app deletion control first if you want to delete online data. Deleting data does not cancel an Apple subscription. For access, correction, deletion or other privacy requests, email dj@neocollar.com. Include your copied player ID when relevant, but never send your authentication secret or camera footage.
International processing and your rights
Our service providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of personal data, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, and contact your local data-protection authority. We use data to provide requested app features, fulfill purchase-related obligations, protect the service, and, where required, with your consent. Contact us to exercise applicable rights.
Age and policy updates
Push Bird is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted data. We may update this policy when features or processing change; the effective date above identifies the current version. Material new uses that require consent will be presented in the app.
